Aaron Criswell serves as the President of Scripted Entertainment (Film, Television, and New Media) at LEBUL, bringing over 25 years of entertainment industry expertise. Before his tenure at LEBUL, Criswell was the Vice President of Appian Way Productions, the Los Angeles–based film and television production company founded by renowned actor and producer Leonardo DiCaprio. During his time at Appian Way, Criswell played a pivotal role in developing countless notable motion pictures, including The Wolf of Wall Street, Little Red Riding Hood, and The Ides of March, to name a few. In addition, Criswell has set up and served as lead on numerous projects at various studios yet to be produced, such as Akira, Tale of Two Cities, Twilight Zone, A Brave New World, the remake of Never Ending Story, and Beat the Reaper.

Criswell’s professional journey is marked by collaborations with some of Hollywood’s most esteemed directors and producers. His network includes iconic figures such as Ridley Scott, Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Kathleen Kennedy, and countless more. Before his contributions at Appian Way, Criswell held the position of Creative Executive at The Firm, Inc., where he had a hand in developing films such as Max Payne, Unstoppable, Come Early Morning, Bride Wars, and The Other Woman.
